The Duncan Mackellar Insurance Agency was founded in 1897, and we are proud
of our more than 100 year history of serving the families and businesses of
the South Shore. Our Agency has been a fixture in Jackson Square, Weymouth
for generations and the South Shore is the longtime home of our entire team.
Given our roots and commitment to the South Shore, we are continually driven
to uphold our longstanding reputation as a trusted insurance advisor and a
reliable benefactor to our community.
We are an independent insurance agency. We do not work for an insurance
company; we work for you. We work on your side when you have a loss and
follow through to see that you get fair, prompt payment and service. We
represent a carefully selected group of financially sound, reputable
insurance companies; therefore we are able to provide the appropriate
coverage at a competitive price.
